King departs for Saudi Arabia ahead of Arab League summit

His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan has departed for Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, to lead the Jordanian delegation participating in the 32nd regular session of the Arab Summit, scheduled to commence in Jeddah on Friday.

During the opening session of the summit, His Majesty the King will deliver a speech addressing various issues concerning the Arab nation, with a particular focus on the Palestinian cause, recognized as the foremost Arab issue and a pivotal factor for peace in the region.

The Jordanian delegation includes Ayman Safadi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Amjad Al-Adaileh, Jordan's permanent representative to the Arab League, and Dr. Jaafar Hassan, the Director of His Majesty's Office.
