Sunday, the Jerash Magistrate Court issued a one-year-imprisonment sentence to the individual who last year vandalized pillars in the ancient city of Jerash, in addition to a fine of JD 3,000.
He was convicted of the crime of intentionally destroying and vandalizing antiquities.
