Wednesday, the General Authority of Civil Affairs announced that it received the body of a slain Palestinian from Jericho, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The Authority said that the body of Suleiman Oweid was transported to the Jericho Governmental Hospital after it was handed over by the Israeli Occupation.

Oweid will be laid to rest after the necessary arrangements are made in coordination with his family.

Notably, Oweid was killed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in April 24, 2023.

This comes as part of the authority's efforts, and based on orders from Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Hussein al-Sheikh, to recover the bodies of martyred Palestinians.
