Friday, the spokesperson for the Jordan Hotels Association Mohammad Al-Qassem said that the occupancy rate in five-star hotels in Aqaba in April reached 88 percent, which is considered 'excellent' and 'high' during this time of year.
He added that hotels in Amman are also witnessing a 'boom' in reservations, especially after Eid Al-Fitr, with the occupancy rate standing at 73 percent.
In the Dead Sea, the occupancy rate stood at 95 percent and at 83 percent in Petra.
As for four-start hotels, occupancy rates in Aqaba reached 87 percent, Dead Sea 93 percent, Amman 83 percent and 95 percent in Petra, said Qassem.
The occupancy rates in three-star hotels stood at 69 percent in Amman, 68 percent in Petra and 89 percent in Aqaba.
