A Jordanian woman, identified as Ala'a, surprised the US Ambassador to Jordan Henry Wooster with Nutella-stuffed Maamoul on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

As part of the US Embassy's Eid Al-Fitr video, which was shared on its official Twitter page, we see how Ala'a got the idea, prepared and surprised Wooster with the dessert.

As the Ambassador was about to wish everyone a happy Eid, she said: "Wait! I have a special treat for you. For your last Eid al-Fitr in Jordan, I made you a Maamoul with Nutella."

Wooster replied saying: "Ala'a, did you really? You know how special that is for me. You have truly made this an Eid to remember, Ala'a."

The Ambassador also wished the citizens and residents of Jordan a happy Eid saying: "As we gather to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, we want to extend our warmest wishes for a joyous and blessed holiday. Eid reminds us of the importance of community, family and friendship. And of the cultural heritage, religious diversity, and coexistence that characterize Jordanian society."
