The agreement was reached Wednesday during the second meeting of the Bahrain-Qatari Follow-up Committee, at the headquarters of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) General Secretariat in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The ministry stressed the importance of this agreement in efforts to enhance cooperation between Arab countries in a way that serves common Arab interests.
The official spokesperson for the ministry Sinan Majali said that the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two brotherly countries is a significant achievement that enhances Gulf and Arab solidarity and the ability to face common challenges.
