Wednesday, Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh announced that this Sunday (April 9), as well as the following Sunday and Monday (April 16-17) will be official holidays for Christians in Jordan on the occasion of Palm Sunday and Easter.

This decision applies to those working in ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality and companies wholly owned by the government.
