At least five Palestinians and a foreign activist were shot by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) during a peaceful protest in the West Bank, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

A local activist said the IOF responded violently to a peaceful anti-settlement demonstration in the Kufr Qaddoum village in Qalqilia, in the occupied West Bank.

The coordinator of the popular resistance committee in the village Murab Shtawi said the IOF opened fire during the march and used gas bombs.

Dozens of demonstrators suffered from breathing difficulties after inhaling the tear gas.

All those who were injured were treated at the scene.
