Friday, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) imposed many restrictions as Palestinians tried to enter the city of Jerusalem to perform Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The IOF deployed in Jerusalem around 2,000 policemen and soldiers in the Old City and Aqsa Mosque and Iron barriers were placed in the streets of occupied Jerusalem in the morning, according to reports.

Hebrew media said that Itamar Ben Gvir, the Minister of National Security in the Israeli Occupation, is expected to be present in the police command room to follow up work procedures in case of clashes erupting in Al-Aqsa Mosque on the first Friday of Ramadan.
