The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) arrested 15 drug dealers in 48 hours.

The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the arrests were made in Amman, Balqa, Madaba, Ramtha, Ma'an and Aqaba, during which large quantities of narcotics and firearms were seized.

In the capital, the AND arrested three people in south Amman and seized 34 slabs of hashish, as well as a quantity of cocaine and crystal meth.

In North Amman, two drug dealers were arrested after the AND confirmed that they transported narcotics substances from Mafraq. During this operation, a total of 21 slabs of hashish and 2,000 narcotic pills were seized.

In south Amman, an apartment was raided which was used to store and sell drugs, and two drug dealers were arrested. During the raid, 1kg of crystal meth, as well as a quantity of cocaine and narcotic pills were seized.

In Balqa, two drug dealers were arrested in possession of a firearm and 313 marijuana seedlings.

In Madaba, two armed dealers were arrested in a vehicle, while transporting narcotics including nine slabs of hashish and 2,000 narcotic pills.

In Ramtha, a drug dealer was arrested in possession of 11 slabs of hashish.

In Ma'an, two drug dealers were also arrested after clashing with security forces. A firearm, 2,000 narcotic pills and three slabs of hashish were seized

In Aqaba, one drug dealer was arrested in possession of 1,100 narcotic pills.

All those arrested were referred to the Public Prosecutor of the State Security Court.
