Jordan was affected by an air depression classified as a third-degree which sees heavy rainfall and a drop in temperatures, according to the spokesperson for ArabiaWeather, Muhannad Atiyat.

Atiyat expected that more rain would fall in the country reaching 20-80 mm in each region, in addition to wind speeds expected to reach 70 km/h.

He added that most areas are expected to be affected by the depression, as the duration of its impact on Jordan is 72 hours, and temperatures will range between 5-12 °C.

There is also a small chance of snowfall, according to Atiyat, as heavy rainfall will gradually increase until it becomes accompanied by showers of hail on Monday night and Tuesday morning.

He revealed that a five-degree air depression is expected to affect Jordan with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

Atiyat stressed that the aforementioned air depression still needs further monitoring, to get more details on its nature.
