Tuesday, the Embassy of Japan in Jordan held a ceremony at the Japanese Ambassador's residence to confer on Prof. Dr. Eng. Mohammad Abu-Dayeh Matouq, Professor, Faculty of Engineering Technology, Al-Balqa Applied University with the Decoration of “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon.”

Matouq took the initiative of launching the Jordan Japan Academic Society in 2004 and has ever since spared no effort in promoting academic exchange and mutual understanding between Jordan and Japan.

The ceremony was attended by many guests such as former ministers and officials in the academic field to celebrate Matouq’s conferment.
