One person died and another was injured in a cave collapse in the Soum district in Irbid.

The Civil Defense Departmet (CDD) dispatched a rescue team to the location where two people were trapped inside a cave after it collapsed on them.

After the team used special equipment to pull both people from under the rubble, they were able to save one of them who suffered from fractures, wounds and bruises.

Both were transferred to the Princess Basma Governmental Hospital.
