Two people were rescued after getting stranded in an 18-meter deep mountain crevice in Ma'an.

Specialized rescue teams from the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) were immediately dispatched to the location in the Umm Sayhoun area when the incident was reported.

The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the CDD team used special equipment to rescue the two individuals and bring them to safety without any significant harm.
