A 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit the Latakia region in Syria and Antakya, Turkey, on Thursday.

A devastating earthquake struck the regions of southern Turkey and northern Syria on Feb. 6, killing more than 50,000 people, and causing large numbers of injuries.
