An Egyptian child died after falling into a manhole in the village of Kfour Al-Ghab in Damietta Governorate, according to local media.

The parents of the five-year-old Emad Ali tried to help their son when he fell into the manhole with the assistance of other residents who tried to pull the child out before the authorities arrived and tried to rescue the child.

Nearly four hours later, rescue teams managed to pull the child out but he was found dead.
