Tuesday, relatives of a Jordanian young man, later identified as Faisal Tayseer Al-Bashabsha, announced that Turkish authorities were able to pull him out alive from underneath the rubble 19 hours after being trapped in a hotel in Antakya following the devastating earthquake.

According to his relatives, Bashabsha was among those who were staying in a hotel and the roof collapsed on them. 

He is currently receiving treatment in a hospital after suffering minor bruises.

Notably, the young man is from Ramtha and went to Istanbul for a workshop.
