New Zealand police said on Sunday a fourth body was found after Auckland was devastated by deadly floods and torrential rains.

On Friday, Auckland saw 249 millimeters of rainfall, breaking the previous record of rainfall in 24 hours which stood at 161 mm.

The 1.6 million residents of the country’s largest city, Auckland, remain under a state of emergency.
