Thursday, the Palestinian Presidency affirmed that what is happening in the city of Jenin and the Jenin Refugee Camp is a “massacre” carried out by the Israeli Occupation government.

It also expressed its disappointment with the international silence describing it as “suspicious.”

The spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said that their helplessness and international silence is what encourages the Israeli Occupation’s government to commit such massacres against the Palestinian people.

He added that the Israeli Occupation continues to attempt to devalue the lives of Palestinians, and tamper with security and stability in Palestine by continuously choosing escalation.

He stressed that the Palestinian people are resilient and will not give up Jerusalem and its sanctities, in spite of the crimes and massacres committed by the Israeli Occupation.

He called on the international community to take urgent action to protect the Palestinian people..
