The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced that it dealt with 126 drug dealing cases within one week.

A total of 218 people were arrested between January 12 and 18, including several people classified as dangerous, who were referred to the Public Prosecutor of the State Security Court.

Among the narcotics seized were 50 kilograms of hashish, 400,000 Captagon pills, 3,000 other narcotic pills, 500 grams of crystal meth, marijuana seedlings and firearms.

Notably, 12 individuals have been admitted to rehabilitation centers for drug abuse during the same week.

A total of 68 awareness raising activities have been held this week, led by the Anti-Narcotics Department in partnership with other relevant authorities and partners.
