Civil Defense staff recovered a bus after it fell into the King Abdullah Canal west of Irbid on Sunday. All passengers on board survived.

The administrator of the Northern Jordan Valley Brigade Ali Al-Hawamdeh said that the bus was carrying nine people, and had gone off course from the road next to the King Abdullah Canal when it tumbled into the water.

Passengers were able to escape from the bus with the help of local residents, and Civil Defense staff recovered the vehicle, Hawamdeh said, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
