A six-vehicle pileup led to a severe traffic jam Saturday from the Shaab Tunnel exit towards the Eighth Circle traffic lights in Amman.

According to the Central Traffic Department, the collision involved six vehicles, one of which was a freight vehicle.

The vehicles were removed from the location of the accident and traffic resumed normally shortly after.

The department advised citizens and residents to drive with caution, follow traffic laws and cooperate with traffic officers for their safety.
