A representative of the Highway Patrol Department said that they were contacted by a driver, who was in a moving vehicle on Mada Bridge at the time, saying he had brake failure issues and was not able to stop his vehicle.

The representative told Amen FM that the operations room directed the driver to continue driving on the open road towards the south and helped him stop the vehicle safely.

He said that a mechanical defect was discovered in the vehicle, after they successfully assisted the citizen and ensured his safety with the help of traffic and civil defense officers.
