Two young men were shot dead Saturday by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in a West Bank raid, while another was reported dead after the IOF had opened fire on him two weeks ago in the town of Al-Yamoun, near Jenin.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the three Palestinians as Izz Eddin Basem Hamamreh, 22, and Amjad Adnan Khalilieh, 21, both from Jaba; and Yazan Samer Jaabari,19, from Al-Yamoun town.

The IOF entered the evacuated Tarsala settlement, and set up a military checkpoint at the junction of the town of Jaba', which caused clashes to erupt between Palestinians and the IOF, during which the soldiers fired bullets and sound and gas bombs at the young men, wounding one of them with a live bullet in the foot.

Soldiers also opened fire on Hamamreh and Khalilieh while in a car near the Jaba’ intersection before pursuing it to the nearby village of Fandakoumieh, where they kept firing at the vehicle, killing its two passengers.

With the killing of Hamamreh, Khalilieh and Jaabri, a total of 12 Palestinians have been killed by IOF gunfire since the start of the year, including three minors.
