Inflation in the United States is clearly headed in the "right direction," President Joe Biden said Thursday, as government data showed consumer prices rising at the slowest pace in over a year.

"We still have more work to do though, but we're clearly moving in the right direction, and there's more breathing room in the store for American workers and families," Biden told reporters.
