The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) announced Monday that a JD 1 banknote that contains enhanced security features was designed.

The CBJ noted that this new bill, which is the fifth to be issued, will be circulated gradually along with the denominations of the issue JD 5, JD 10, JD 20, and JD 50 will be interchangeable with older notes.

This issue is the first in 20 years. It also includes upgraded, durable paper quality as well as the industry's most cutting-edge security features.
