From the heart of Jordan, Roya TV launches “Ahel Al Hai” initiative

Roya Media Group launched the initiative “Ahel Al Hai,” which translates into People of the Neighborhood, in its unrelenting efforts to support the local community and the youth in particular.

The idea behind “Ahel Al Hai” came from Roya’s keenness to stay connected to the local community while offering services in a variety of governorates to make a change towards the better.

"Ahel Al Hai" made sure to solve problems in local communities using ideas that came from young people.

The show aims to deliver a message to all members and groups of society; to become productive communities and reach social solidarity through volunteer work in a way that encourages the culture of development.

Due to environmental pollution coming from factories near residential areas, “Ahel Al Hai” seeks to eliminate the most prominent problems faced by the residents of Al Halabat, and then to Al-Salt where kids don’t have designated areas to play.

Roya could not overlook people with disabilities so it steered “Ahel Al Hai” to the capital, Amman, to provide accessible transportation for a group that had always carried its own problems, and from Amman the initiative went to grandmothers in Judayta in Irbid to present a new project in service of them, and so the initiative went on to research the effects of drinking water on civilians.

Going back to Amman, in the education sector, Anas Al-Kalash decided to dedicate his expertise in the field of technology to present students with a scientific experiment. Then, in Kafr Al-Ma'a town in Irbid work was done to solve the problem of the lack of suitable places to study, before “Ahel AL Hai” moved on to Dalagha in Ma’an to launch a health campaign.

In Tibnah, which is a village in Irbid, the initiative took into account the lack of special education centers or training and rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities, so it worked to end the great suffering.

"Ahel Al Hai" concluded its contributions in Al Qunaytirah in Al Jizah district in the capital Amman, where the show renovated a number of public schools to provide a suitable environment for students.

The projects of "Ahel Hai" were funded by Roya Media Group in an aim to improve the living conditions in a number of the Kingdom’s governorates, under the slogan “Al-Ordon Lessa Bkhair” which is Arabic for “Jordan is still well.”

Ahel Al Hai” will air every Friday, starting today, at 8:30 PM on Roya TV.
