Jordan’s capital, Amman, witnessed Thursday morning dense fog in many areas, amid low horizontal visibility, coinciding with the start of a cold period.

ArabiaWeather website said that the latest satellite images show the formation of thick fog in several parts of the eastern plains, in addition to some mountainous heights, including neighborhoods in Amman, especially in the east.

In the official hourly report issued by Amman Civil Airport, the range of horizontal visibility at the airport at 8 am on Thursday morning appeared to be only 400 meters. Horizontal vision is expected to gradually improve over the next hours.
