The Director of Jordan Meteorological Department, Raed Khattab, said that an air depression will form over the island of Cyprus at the end of next week, which may affect Jordan, causing a decrease in temperatures and showers of rain starting Thursday.

He added that the next period is a period of harsh cold that lasts for 40 days and extends from Dec. 22 to Jan. 31. Snow may fall during this period.
