Israeli Occupation forces launched a series of raids and arrests in several areas in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem on Wednesday, during which 24 Palestinians were arrested, including senior leaders of the Hamas movement.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement that the detainees were taken for interrogation for suspicion of participating in armed resistance against settlers and the Israeli Occupation forces.
The statement added that most of the arrests happened in the governorates of Hebron, Nablus, Jenin, Qalqilya, Ramallah, Tulkarem, and several neighborhoods in occupied East Jerusalem.
Dozens of Palestinian homes were raided and stormed, and the house owners were searched and detained for hours, the statement added.
