Osama Al-Tarifi, Chief Operating Officer at Arabia Weather, said the southern regions witnessed the highest rainfall as the country expects a state of atmospheric instability to prevail on Thursday.
He added that the effects of an air depression are expected to begin within the next 24 hours and with the hours of the afternoon on Thursday, the country will experience thunderstorms in all regions.
On Friday, the weather is expected to be cold with rain falling for hours on end, according to Tarifi. He also warned of the formation of torrential rain and fog.
It is expected that the northern and central regions of the Kingdom, including west of the capital, Amman, will witness the highest rainfall on Friday.
Tarifi said that the weather is expected to stabilize with the afternoon and evening hours of Saturday but cold temperatures will remain.
