Jordan’s Grand Criminal Court decided to imprison an Egyptian for 20 years, after he killed a Jordanian by tying the victim’s hands, wrapping a rope around his neck, and beating him, which led to his death.

According to the court’s decision, the victim before April 2021 moved from his place of residence to another house, and would still frequently visit his old neighborhood and look at his house from afar which caused the accused to threaten him by saying, "If I see you in the neighborhood, I will slaughter you."

In May 2021, the accused, one day, woke up from sleep and found the victim in the staircase, so he shouted at him which caused the victim to escape but the accused caught up with him and knocked him to the ground then he tied him up and assaulted him until he died.
