The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said that the Greek authorities on the island of Samos informed the Palestinian embassy in Greece that four Palestinians were rescued from the sea after their boat sank off the coast of the island at the end of last month.

The Palestinian news agency, Wafa, quoting Palestinian officials in Greece, reported that rescue teams are still trying to find any information regarding to those still missing.

Additionally, the Turkish government in Kuş Adasi informed the Palestinian embassy in Turkey that the body of a Palestinian had been found, and it was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Institution in Izmir to find out the cause of death. No further details were disclosed.
