The most wanted fugitive in southern Jordan was arrested by the security services, according to a statement made by the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate Wednesday.

The man was a fugitive for years and classified as very dangerous having had 14 court orders issued against him in cases that range from murder charges to drugs.

The spokesperson added that he was found after the authorities managed to determine the date of his transfer from one place to another by vehicle in Ma’an, which was when the authorities were able to chase the vehicle and arrest him.

When he was arrested, a firearm and narcotic substances were seized.
