Sunday, experts issued a report revealing the causes behind the collapse of Al-Weibdeh building that left 14 dead and 10 injured.

According to the report, the collapse of the central column in the basement was the cause of the collapse.

An expert said that the building collapsed due to maintenance work that day, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Earlier, five experts submitted a report to the Amman Criminal Conciliation Court, outlining the causes of the collapse of an apartment building in Al-Weibdeh area.

One of the residents of the collapsed building said that it had cracks for 18 years.

Sept. 13, 2022, a building collapsed in Al-Weibdeh area in Amman, leaving 14 dead and 10 injured.

Notably, on Sept. 16, 2022, the last person was pulled out dead from under the rubble of the collapsed building.
