Wednesday, a doctor was attacked by settlers in the city of Tulkram and sustained injuries, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The ministry issued a statement saying that the medical staff at Thabet Thabet Hospital is currently treating a doctor after he was attacked by settlers east of Tulkarm.

The doctor had severe bruises in the chest, nose and abdomen. However, tests are still being completed and the necessary medical care will be provided to him, the ministry added.

No further details were disclosed.
