Two in three Jordanians do not trust Khasawneh's government

The Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) announced Monday the results of a public opinion poll on Jordanians' opinion on the government of Bisher Al-Khasawneh, two years after its formation.

The results showed that only 33 percent of Jordanians trust the government of Khasawneh.

Additionally, Jordanians' optimism about the government declined from 55 percent upon formation to only 29 percent. Around 71 percent of Jordanians are not optimistic about the government.

According to the poll, 80 percent of Jordanians believe that matters in the Kingdom are moving in a negative direction.

Also, 85 percent of Jordanians believe that different measures taken by the government have failed to curb price hikes.

The opinion poll showed that the majority of Jordanians, 79 percent, do not believe that Jordan is a happy society.
