Jordan recorded two deaths and 2,776 new coronavirus cases in one week (from Sept. 10 until Sept. 16), according to the weekly COVID-19 statistical report issued by the Ministry of Health every Sunday.
The total death toll reached 14,116.
The cases are:
-1,220 in Amman
-515 in Irbid
-295 in Zarqa
-136 in Karak
-103 in Ajloun
-91 in Madaba
-58 in Ramtha
-31 in Aqaba
-26 in Tafilah
-24 in Jerash
-22 in Ma'an
-20 in Mafraq
-Eight in Petra
A total of 77 cases have been admitted to the hospitals in one week, and 86 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are 59 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
There are a total of 2,371 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 17,825 PCR tests were conducted in one week.
The weekly positive PCR test rate reached 15.57 percent.
