Thousands of queuers waited Sunday in lines across London in order to see Queen Elizabeth II's coffin.

It is the last day people will be able to see the Queen lying in state before she is put to rest after her state funeral which is to take place at Westminster.

Sep. 8, 2022, Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96, announced Buckingham Palace.

"The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow," The palace announced.
