Four people were killed and two others were injured in an armed robbery that occurred in Lebanon on Friday, according to Roya’s reporter.
The reporter added that there was an exchange of fire inside a cell phone store in the city of Tripoli when a group of individuals tried to rob the store, as they were carrying machine guns and hand grenades.
The fire exchange led to the death of the store owner, two of the attackers and another unknown person, before a military force from the Lebanese army rushed to the site and began preparing the bombs for detonation.
The Lebanese Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, followed up on the incident and stressed "the need to control the situation and increase security measures so as not to allow anyone to tamper with the security of Tripoli and the safety of its people."
