The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that a report was received to the operations room of the Aqaba Civil Defense Directorate stating that a 15-year-old person was drowning in the sea near the Al-Ghandour beach in the Aqaba governorate.

He indicated that the speedy arrival of the civil defense and the provision of necessary first aid contributed to the rescue of the person who had been taken out of the water by the citizens.

He added that the ambulance teams provided him with the necessary first aid at the site, and then he was transferred to Prince Hashem Military Hospital to receive the necessary treatment, where his general condition was described as moderate.

The Public Security Directorate thanked the citizens for their help, and called on everyone to be cautious and abide by posted instructions.
