New parts of grain silos damaged by the 2020 Beirut port explosion collapsed, the third such incident at the dockside harbor this month.

The towers that came crumbling down were among the last remaining chunks of the structure's northern bloc which sustained the most damage during the explosion.

Experts had been warning for days that the silos could collapse imminently.
