Five children were killed, on Friday morning, as a result of a fire that broke out in an apartment in the Rusaifa Brigade in Zarqa, according to the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate.

He added that upon receiving a report that a fire broke out, civil defense personnel went to the scene, put out the fire and the bodies of five children were found.

Investigations are currently underway.
