Wednesday, an opinion poll issued by the Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) at the University of Jordan announced that Roya TV has topped all local media sources that Jordanians rely on to follow up and get the latest news related to Jordan.

According to CCS, 44.9 percent believe that Roya is the best source for obtaining the latest local news.

The survey revealed that 53 percent of the respondents believe that social media is one of the most prominent sources to obtain information on local issues, followed by TV (36 percent), then news websites (three percent), followed by family, friends, acquaintances and colleagues (two percent), and lastly by radio (one percent).

As for regional and international news, Roya ranked second (20.2 percent) after Aljazeera (36.5 percent).
