Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said it's "unacceptable" that the United States and its allies use food production for the benefit of their geopolitical enterprises, AFP reported.

"The use of food production by the United States and its allies in the interests of their geopolitical adventures is unacceptable and inhumane," he said.

He added, "The signing of the UN-Russia memorandum yet again highlights the artificial nature of Western attempts to shift the blame onto Russia for the grain entering world market problems."
