Sunday, dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque led by extremist MK Itamar Ben Gvir and extremist rabbi Yehudah Glick, according to Roya’s correspondent.

Roya’s correspondent said that the settlers began their incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli Occupation police, who closed off the Al-Rahma prayer hall, surrounded the worshipers in the Al-Qibli prayer hall, and assaulted some Palestinians there.

He pointed out that muslims were performing Duha prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and faced the incursions with chants.

Dozens of settlers had stormed the Bab al-Amoud area in occupied Jerusalem, on the eve of the flag march under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.

Notably, the “March of the Flags” threatens to exacerbate weeks of tensions. It comes as Israeli Occupation marks “Jerusalem Day,” commemorating the capture of east Jerusalem in 1967.
