Wednesday, His Majesty King Abdullah II patronized at Al Husseiniya Palace the national celebration of the Kingdom's 76th Independence Day, in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah and HRH Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince.

During the celebration, His Majesty the King awarded a group of Jordanians from various sectors, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and the Royal Medical Services in recognition of their great role and dedication in serving the country and citizens, and their contributions to achieving accomplishments.

When His Majesty the King arrived at the ceremony surrounded by the procession, which is dedicated to official occasions and national celebrations, artillery fired twenty-one rounds.

His Majesty and the audience witnessed several segments embodying the importance of the occasion of independence in the conscience of Jordanians and the march of progress of their state, which was planned by the Hashemite leaders.
