The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Epidemiological Affairs Adel Belbisi said Wednesday that the recommendation to cancel the mandatory wearing of face masks in indoor areas in Jordan, came after the current epidemiological situation improved significantly.
He advised that the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine should be received six months after receiving the second dose, and to receive the fourth dose six months after getting the third one.
Earlier Wednesday, an official source said that the government is expected to issue later today a decision abolishing the mandatory wearing of face masks in indoor areas.
The new decision will also approve the option to receive the fourth dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
