Sunday, the Highway Patrol Department seized a vehicle traveling at a speed of 190 km/h, on Shuwayer Road.

Earlier Sunday, the department also seized a minibus on the Dead Sea Road, whose driver committed a violation of carrying 40 passengers although the bus only carries up to 29 people.

A total of 40 passengers were on the bus which threatened their safety and the safety of others.

The driver was prevented from driving until another bus was brought in to secure the passengers.

On Saturday, 11 people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in the Jurf al-Darawish area, according to the Highway Patrol Department.
