Kyiv announced on Friday that it had been handed over 41 people, including 11 women, in a new prisoner exchange with Russia, without revealing the number of Russians who were handed over to Moscow.
"Another exchange of prisoners took place: 41 people, including 11 women, were repatriated. 28 soldiers and 13 civilians returned home," Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Irina Verichuk said on Telegram.
The official indicated that among the released was a Ukrainian Orthodox clergyman.
Many prisoners have been exchanged between Kyiv and Moscow since Russia began its military operation of Ukraine on February 24.
The last exchange took place on April 30, and involved 14 Ukrainians, including a pregnant woman.
